This dipping sauce is the perfect compliment for chicken tenders. Avoid using fat free or reduced fat ingredients for best results. This recipe is a copycat recipe for Zax Sauce. Enjoy!
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (Hellman’s)
- 1/4 cup tomato ketchup (Heinz)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons molasses
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Measure mayo and place into a medium-size mixing bowl.
Add garlic powder, molasses, and ketchup to the mixture and stir to blend.
Top the mixture with Worcestershire sauce and black pepper. Stir well until the mixture appears even and smooth. Add a little volume to the mix by using a hand blender.
Cover the top of the mixing bowl with plastic wrap, then place in the refrigerator for at least two hour. Optimally, the sauce will be stored in the refrigerator overnight for maximum flavor.

What is the sense of putting 1/4 teaspoons of anything…and 1and a half teaspoons of something? why not just use a tablespoon.Id like to try this but I would never use Hellmans either–why be so specific?
You would have a totally different recipe, if you don’t go by the measurements. Use what ever brand you like. This is just my recipe.
