My family has been freezing cabbage for years. When you take the cabbage out of the freezer it taste as if it were fresh out of the garden. So simple to prepare and you will have cooked cabbage all year long. I hope you give it a try.
FRESH CABBAGE OUT OF THE GARDEN
On cutting board, chop cabbage into wedges and wash.
Put washed cabbage in a large pot to blanch.
Bring cabbage to a boil, and let boil for 5 mins.
After about 5 minutes pour over into a colander and rinse.
After the cabbage cools its ready to put into quart size freezer bags.
One head of cabbage made enough for two quart sized bags. ENJOY!

thank you
